On day of arrival, log cabins are available between 3pm-6pm.

We ask guests to depart at 10am prompt.

If you are likely to arrive late, please contact Sarah beforehand, as arrival after 8pm does incur a £25 late arrival fee.

Dŵr Y Felin Log Cabins are easy to locate, a short distance off the main A470 in the delightful village of Carno.

In Newtown, follow road sign for Llangurig/Machynlleth

Just before railway crossing turn right for Caersws/Carno.

Driving on the A470 through Caersws, stay on the main road to Carno.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE VILLAGE

Once you've arrived in Carno it's finally time to leave the A470!​

When you enter Carno (from Newtown/Llanidloes direction):

• Pass the Aleppo Merchant Pub on left

• Pass Community Centre on left

• Pass Spar shop on right

• Take next tarmac left up a hill - photo in Area album shows the turning

• Drive past bungalows/houses

• Drive down hill

• See Dŵr Y Felin Welcome sign on left

• Turn in left over cattle grid

• Please drive carefully, as sheep/horses do wander on the road 

• Take care driving on stone road over 2nd cattle grid (especially in the dark)

• Log cabins can be seen on your left

If you have chosen to let the sat nav bring you to Carno at Welshpool, it will take you on the Llanfair Caereinion mountain road, so you will enter Carno from the opposite end of the village.

After driving over the railway crossing, you will then need to turn left onto the main road, take a sharp right up the hill before you see the Spar shop

• Nearest motorway: Shrewsbury , M54 at 25 miles.

• Nearest railway station: Caersws at 5 miles (Transport can be provided to your cabin from station if you wish).

• Nearest beach:30 minutes away.

• Car - recommended.
